Sedaiia is a playful take on the Javanese word "sedaya", which literally means "everything". It's how we work: audio, illustration, photography, design and visual arts all feed into what we make.

We started as a design studio in 2003 and adapted AI in our workflow since 2026. We prioritize art direction over just execution.

Today we work as a creative production partner for agencies, production companies, brands and artist rosters. Sometimes up front, sometimes behind the scenes.

Studio Sedaiia is led by John Patrick, who has worked in design since 2003, across branding, layout, illustration and web. Before AI, he spent years as a tattoo artist working in surrealism and conceptual art. That mix of craft and imagination still shapes every project we take on.

  • Studio Sedaiia is a creative studio that makes AI films, campaigns, commercials and branded content. The studio combines AI production with 20+ years of experience in design and visual production.

  • Studio Sedaiia works with advertising agencies, production companies, brands and artist rosters worldwide, as an independent creative and visual production partner.

  • Studio Sedaiia is based in the Netherlands, Europe, and works remotely with clients worldwide.

AI-production

  • An AI film is a video made largely with generative AI tools instead of a traditional film shoot. At Studio Sedaiia, every frame is art-directed and refined by hand, so the result looks like a crafted production, not generic AI content.

  • Studio Sedaiia mainly works with Runway for image and video generation, combined with traditional design and editing tools for art direction, compositing and finishing.

  • Yes. All work is produced with tools that allow commercial use under paid licences, and usage rights are agreed per project.

  • Every project is led by an experienced art director. Studio Sedaiia controls look, consistency and detail across every shot, and filters out the typical “AI look” before delivery.

Collaborations

  • Yes. Studio Sedaiia can work behind the scenes for agencies and production companies, on pitches and campaigns.

  • Every project follows three steps: brief, concept and key frames, then production and delivery. You see and approve the visual direction before full production starts.

  • Most projects take 1 week from brief to delivery, depending on length and complexity. Pitch visuals can often be delivered within 2 days.

  • Pitch visuals and key frames start from €1,500. AI films and commercials typically start from €5,000 (excl. VAT), depending on length, deliverables and usage rights.
